Puffin Cottage Holidays is delighted to present Laston Garden Apartment, boasting arguably the largest seafront terrace in Tenby. Enjoy alfresco dining on the sunbathed terrace accompanied by the sound of waves on the salty sea breeze. As the sun dips beneath the horizon, boats sleepily return to the harbour and the tranquil setting of your seaside stay washes over you.
Laston House is a Grade Two listed building, built by Sir William Paxton in 1811 as Tenby’s first public saltwater bath house. Greek inscription on the building sets the intention of its use, translating as “The sea washes away the ills of men”. Later sold and privately owned, the building was split into separate accommodation, Laston Garden Apartment would have likely housed the warm water baths and dressing rooms of the resort. The location is of prime position, on the sea front near Tenby Harbour, Castle beach, North beach and the town.
The apartment is tastefully decorated with care and sensitivity towards its charming period features, a truly fascinating experience to stay in one of Tenby’s iconic historical buildings!
Access the property via the steps to the left of Laston house leading down to the door with key safe entry.

Amazing location, a real hidden gem
What an amazing location, a real hidden gem. The view from the harbour was spectacular and was a pleasure to wake up to every morning. The terrace area was a fabulous space with Sun loungers to chill out in between activities and a glass of wine of an evening. It’s right on the doorstep of all the bars and restaurants- from eating out to take out. The facilities available also made cosy nights in a pleasure. The bedrooms were all good and comfortable and we always got a parking space. Will definitely be back here again - perfect spot ??

Fabulous location
Fabulous location, with amazing sea views and a one minute walk from both the beach and the town/cafes etc. Very spacious and clean; more than enough room for us and our two children; could easily accommodate more. Lots of steps for both entrances, so worth bearing in mind. Did not hear from host, so cannot comment, but everything went smoothly. Contact was made by Puffin Cottages (who provided access details), who were very helpful and polite.
